Day 15: A-OK
Rubbing sore shoulders.
Wed, Nov 20
Yesterday, after a long day of working (my husband does high-rise steel work) and training (he’s also training for an Ironman next fall) Ryan was in dire need of some muscle relief.
Working in a multidisciplinary clinic for a couple years more than exposed me to a few tricks of the trade when it comes to treating sore bodies. When Ryan competed in a 70.3 Ironman (a half-distance) last fall, I was on permanent muscle-cramp relief duty throughout his training. He alternated between professional treatment and before-bed amateur trigger-point therapy.
Looks like I’m in for some long nights of training ahead of me!
